What's NewChange of date for M. Bloodworth keynote addressDue to unforeseen circumstances, Margaret Bloodworth (Honorary Chair) will be speaking on Wednesday morning at 9am and Richard Worzel (Futurist) will be speaking on Thursday morning at 9am. We apologize for any inconvenience that may result from this change. Social networking opportunitiesDaily after hours social activities will be coordinated for our delegates including group dinner specials and Senators hockey tickets offer. Details available on the Social/Networking page. Social events coordination & networking for out-of-town delegates will be a part of PD Week 2007. Arrangements have been coordinated and we are offering the following social and networking opportunities for PD Week participants:

Come by the "Social Event" table to sign-up and join a group of conference attendees who wish to experience a taste of Ottawa. 3 new streams this year!In order to meet the needs of the entire financial management community two new streams were added this year. The first is to meet the needs of the financial management community leaders. The second is geared to all those non-financial personnel who deal with financial issues every day. Community Leaders - The target audience for this stream will be the SFFO and SFO. Financial Management for Non-Financial Staff – The target audience is the administrative support and program personnel who work with financial information daily but may not have access to financial management professional development. A third stream has been added to enhance the program. This new stream deals with Financial Reporting and will focus on PSAB Accounting Standards and on the latest issues on departmental financial statements. FORD/IARD GraduationIn collaboration with the Treasury Board Secretariat: The FORD/IARD Program Graduation will take place Thursday, November 29th, 2007. A reception will follow combined with the FMI President’s reception. The reception will be a great opportunity for the entire Financial Management community to celebrate the achievements of these new members.
