Denise is the Director of Corporate Financial Services with the Office of the Comptroller General, Department of Finance, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Since joining the provincial public service, she has held director positions with the Department of Education, and the Department of Transportation and Works. Denise attended Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) degree in 1994 and a Masters of Business Administration degree in 1998. She obtained her Certified Management Accounting designation in 1996.

Pinki, a Senior Manager at Deloitte, specializes in consulting to the Public Sector and in particular focuses on all aspects of financial management. Her professional accounting background is complemented by her broad range experience in project management, financial analysis and strategy, process improvements, activity based costing, business case creation, business process reengineering, back-office systems assessment as well as ERP implementations. Pinki also serves various non-profit organizations as volunteer and is very passionate about multiculturism and diversity.

Lisa is currently a Tax Manager with the Tax Administration Division of the Department of Finance. Lisa's previous work experience has included approximately 1 year as the Manager of Capital Markets and Financial Assistance Programs for the Debt Management Division of the Department of Finance, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, seven years as an auditor with the Province's Office of the Auditor General, and four years with a National Accounting Firm. Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1994, and earned her Chartered Accountant designation in 1999.

Sylvia is a Financial Analyst in the Financial Services Branch of Service Canada, where she has worked for 13 years. Prior to this, Sylvia worked in Financial Management and Internal Control (Auditing) at Service Canada. Sylvia completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1997, the majority of which was completed while working full time.

Janice is Manager of Data Control with the Corporate Financial Services Division, Office of the Comptroller General, Department of Finance, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Prior to accepting this position, Janice held various accounting and auditing positions with the Office of the Comptroller General, Department of Natural Resources and Department of Finance, Tax Administration Division. Janice graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1993 and obtained her CMA designation in 1995.

Virginia is currently with the Department of Justice, Government of NL as Special Projects Finance Coordinator. Over the past few years, Virginia has also held various financial roles within the Provincial Government, including Departmental Controller with the Department of Justice, Manager of Financial Planning and Reporting with the House of Assembly, and Budget Analyst with the Department of Finance. Virginia graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1997 and obtained her CGA designation in 2000.

Daphne is the Manager of Data Processing with Corporate Financial Services, Office of the Comptroller General, with the Department of Finance. Prior to accepting this position in July 2010, Daphne was the Manager of Financial Operations with the Dept. of Transportation & Works for 12 years. With over 30 years experience in the payables field within the provincial government, she brings a lot of knowledge and experience to her present job. She completed the Public Sector Leadership and Management Program in December 2006.

Wanda is a Budget Officer with the Budgeting Division of the Department of Finance, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Most recently Wanda was a Public Accounts Analyst with the Office of the Comptroller General, Department of Finance, and prior to this held various audit related positions within the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Wanda graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2001 and obtained her CMA designation in 2003.

John is currently responsible for the implementation of the Human Resource Management System for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Prior to this, John was Director of Government Accounting and Director of Internal Audit with the Provincial Government. John graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1976 and obtained his CA designation in 1980. John was President of the St. John's FMI Chapter from September 2006 to June 2009 and is currently the President of FMI National.
