The Prince Edward Island chapter of the Financial Management Institute is pleased to present:

Honourable Wesley J. Sheridan

Minister of Finance, Energy and Municipal Affairs

Wes Sheridan was elected to the Prince Edward Island Legislature on May 28, 2007, as MLA for Kensington-Malpeque. On June 12, 2007, he was appointed by Premier Robert Ghiz as Provincial Treasurer. On January 13, 2010, he was appointed Minister of Finace and Municipal Affairs. In November 2011, a departmental reorganization added the energy portfolio to Minister Sheridan's department. Minister Sheridan is responsible for the Public Service Commission, the PEI Energy Corporation, the PEI Harness Racing Commission, and the PEI Lotteries Commission.
