As part of the benefits of an fmi*igf membership, the Fredericton Chapter offers an annual scholarship. The fmi*igf Fredericton scholarship is intended to extend financial assistance to a member in good standing or the dependant of a member in good standing of fmi*igf-Fredericton Chapter who is in any year of study at a University or Community College in Canada. This year's recipient is Erin Chisholm, daughter of Michael Chisholm from the HorizonNB.
Erin is currently in her third year of study at St Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. She is completing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting, earning Dean’s List honors for the past two years. In addition to her outstanding scholastic achievements, Erin enjoys being involved in her community through volunteering at events including Shinearama, Trick or Eat and Relay for Life as well as tutoring with the Antigonish Adult Learning Center at St FX. Upon the completion of her BBA, Erin plans on pursuing a Chartered Accountant designation, and one day become an fmi*igf member herself.
