KPMG believes that the time is now for governments to begin planning for recovery from the deficits created by the various stimulus programs—and reduced tax revenues. Difficult public policy decisions are on the horizon—and a carefully planned approach will help ease the potential for political fall-out. KPMG’s survey on the effects of the downturn on the public sector seeks to examine the issues.
Continuing KPMG’s long-running series of research projects into the key trends in the public sector, KPMG’s Global Government practice commissioned a survey of 124 senior executives in the public sector from Australia, Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, the UK, and the USA, in order to provide an in-depth analysis of the different ways some governments are dealing with the effects of the economic downturn.
KPMG brings a global perspective to this issue to address Canadian governments’ fiscal pressures. Please join us for this stimulating webinar.
