Music by Saxophobia

saxophonia_and_frame_346_pix.jpg
Saxophobia is a small amateur saxophone ensemble whose members love to make music. All members are also part of the St Albert Community Band. The group has been in existence for several years. The current ensemble has  1 soprano sax, 3 altos, 2 tenors & 2 baritones. They play a wide variety of styles of music, from classical to rock. They have entertained at seniors’ homes, fund raisers, trade shows, private parties and usually in the lobby of the Arden Theater prior to the Band’s Spring and Christmas Concerts. Their name is taken from the piece “Saxophobia” written by Rudy Wiedoeft in 1919/1920.
