FORD/IARD Program Graduation Ceremony

The Office of the Comptroller General, in conjunction with the FMI-PD week, is pleased to celebrate the graduation of our program participants at this annual ceremony.
The ceremony is held to recognize FORD/IARD participants as they receive their FORD/IARD certificate and launch their careers with the Public Service of Canada. The ceremony will also recognize the recipients of the Government of Canada Financial Management Certificate.
The FORD/IARD program has recruited over 2000 university graduates since it was first established in 1978. While the program recruits at the entry-level, graduates of the program have gone on to serve at all levels of the public service. This speaks to the quality of the FORD/IARD graduates. The departments and agencies that hire FORD/IARD recruits are key contributors to the success of the program. It is an essential partnership, and one that has grown stronger over three decades.
Following the ceremony, graduates will join their colleagues from across the financial management and internal audit communities at the President’s Reception. Please join us as we celebrate with our graduates and wish a warm welcome to the newest members of our community.
